Ross Regatta 2011

Well the first race was at 8.30 on Sunday morning and the last race was just after 6pm on Monday. Once again Ross Regatta was busy, bustling and brimming with excitement.

All in all Ross Regatta just keeps getting better and better each year! We took over 4000 photographs during the two days so bear with us if it takes a while for them all to go online on our website at CountryStyle Photography And if you want a fun packed couple of days at the end of August next year Ross Regatta is not to be missed!

Hereford Regatta Weekend…

Hereford Regatta…a new event in our diary, and one we hope is repeated next year.Shropshire Event Photographer We thoroughly enjoyed the new revamped Hereford regatta weekend, as did all the competitors we spoke to.Shropshire Event Photographer There was a lovely warm cosy atmosphere, the burgers were great, the rain held off until the after the last race on Saturday and avoided us all together on Sunday, organisation was excellent, the commentators were superb (thanks for all the mentions guys) and the racing wasn’t bad either!Regatta PhotographerAll the photographs from all the racing may be viewed and purchased on our website at CountryStyle Photography Yes…we hope to see you all again, and lots more at Hereford Regatta next year.Regatta photographer

St Neots Regatta…

We had a very enjoyable weekend in sunny Cambridgeshire photographing loads of people in boats racing down the Great Ouse, avoiding crabs along the way, being vociferously encouraged by club members and family, tirelessly endeavouring to be first across the line and so the proud recipient of a shiny new St Neots pot! Yes…it wasn’t a bad weekend at all! We are currently beavering away uploading the 1000’s of photos from St Neots Regatta weekend to our website at CountryStyle Photography…we hope to have the majority online by the end of the day. Hope to see you all again at St Neots next year…in the meantime we are looking forward to our next Regatta which is Hereford Regatta on the 6th and 7th August.

Pretty in Pink….

Richard and I managed to be in two places at once last Sunday. I photographed the Habberley Fun Ride whilst Richard photographed the Pink Potter with the help of the intrepid Jack Sagar. An awful lot of hard work went into the organisation of the Pink Potter by Linda Sagar and the committee, assisted by Edward Tate from the Isle Estate who could not have been more obliging and helpful…so it was very nice to see the cars rolling up with their occupants and dogs wearing varying shades of pink. At the last count the Pink Potter raised around £2000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer…

The Habberley Fun Ride was well attended also, with spectacular views of the South Shropshire Hills.  All the riders taking part seemed to be enjoying themselves…

The photographs from both events can be found on the CountryStyle Photography website.

We have a nice varied weekend coming up. On Saturday 11th June we shall be alongside the River Severn at the Bridgnorth Regatta…and Sunday shall see us beside the sea in North Wales at the Kinmel Park Fun Ride. Hope this weather improves!
